An Ecumenical Conference in English at the Centro Pro Unione
Few persons of the theological stature of Joseph Ratzinger have been elected Pope. His pontificate will be extremely influential for the Catholic Church and the world. But the question is in what ways.
A group of Anglican, Lutheran, Methodist, Orthodox, Pentecostal, Reformed, and Roman Catholic ecumenical theologians have examined the question of how the life experiences and theological reflections of Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger influencing the pontificate of Benedict XVI.
Their conclusions will appear in a volume entitled The Pontificate of Benedict XVI: Its Premises and Promises. Most of the contributors to this volume will be present at the conference to present their views on this question and to enter into discussion with the conference participants.
